The GFCC Scholarship Golf Classic will hold it's 11th annual golf tournament by celebrating the 80th Anniversary of the first National Negro Open .

The "National", which was established as the first and the only major event for African Americans, was started on Labor Day Weekend in 1926 at the Country Club in Stow Massachusetts.

This year's GFCC Scholarship Golf Classic will be held on Friday August 25th at Stow Acres Golf Course in Stow, Massachusetts, the very same course on which the "National" began.

All contributions raised by the tournament are used to support the GFCC Scholarship Program, which to date has distributed more than $100,000 in college scholarships and grants to students. The playing fees are $125 per person and sponsorships are available.
