Men's Christian Fellowship: GFCC Scholarship Golf Classic celebrates National Negro Open

The GFCC Scholarship Golf Classic will hold its 11th annual golf tournament in August by celebrating the 80th anniversary of the first National Negro Open.
The "<FONT color=#0000ff>National" which was established as the first and o­nly major golf tournament for African Americans, was started o­n <FONT color=#ff6347>Labor Day Weekend in 1926 <FONT color=#000000>at the Country Club in Stow Massachusetts. This year's GFCC Scholarship Golf Classic will be held o­n:

Date:  Friday August 25th
Location:   Stow Acres Golf Course in Stow, Massachusetts
Playing Fee:  $125.00

This is the very same course o­n which the "National" began.

All contributions raised  raised through the tournament are used to support the GFCC Scholarship Program, which to date has distributed more than $100,000 in college scholarships and grants to deserving students. The playing fees for the tournament are $125 and include greens fees, cart, barbeque lunch and prizes. Corporate sponsorships as well as hole sponsorships are available.
