Men's Christian Fellowship: GFCC 2005 - 2006 Scholarship & Grant Recipients

Students Away in School or Recognition

If you missed our Recognition Sunday Celebration held o­n June 12th, here are the 2005 - 2006 GFCC Men's Christian Fellowship Scholarship and Grant Recipients


<FONT color=#0000ff size=4>Courtney Jacqueline Sobers ($2,500 Scholarship)

Courtney who plans to attend Carneige Mellon University in the fall, has a 3.96 grade point average and a passion for Chemistry. She wants to get a doctorate in chemistry, along with a degree in education.

<FONT color=#0000ff size=4>Tarra Adrianna Jackson ($2,500 Scholarship)

Tarra who was a recipient last year, attends Howard University and has a 3.7 grade point average. This fall she will be a graduating senior for a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and proud that she achieved this status in under four years of college.

<FONT color=#0000ff size=4>Aaron Joseph Gadson ($2,500 Scholarship)

Aaron, who plans to attend Cornell University having received early acceptance, currently has a 3.5 grade point average. He will major in Engineering (perhaps Electrical). He plans to pursue graduate degrees in engineering as well.

<FONT color=#0000ff size=4>Rayna E. Bass ($2,500 Scholarship)

Rayna currently attends St. Johns University with a 3.7 grade point average. She is majoring in Communication and upon graduation, plans to enter the field of public relations. Rayna was recently inducted into the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society.

<FONT color=#0000ff size=4>Alycia J. Johnson ($1,000 Grant)

Alycia currently attends the University of Miami, Graduate School of Communication and as a 3.1 grade point average. She is pursuing a Masters Degree in Communication Studies and plans to work in the area of diversity in corporate America.
