In last Sunday's service, Rev. Price indicated that our own Jade St. Cyere served as the Mistress of Ceremonies for a STEP and Fashion Show event held at Fitchburg State College where she is a freshman.

If you remember. Jade also gave one of the two keynote speeches at our Recognition Celebration ceremony held in June 2007. The pictures from this event including one of Jade is still on display downstairs in the church.

After a brief discussion with her mom and a quick search of the school's website here is another piece of information.

Jade and some of her friends are members of a multicultural group at the school, who took on the leadership responsibility to plan and hold this event. They co-ordinated everything including lining up the performers and obtaining donors for the clothes used in the fashion show. The event was actually held March 29, 2008.
