In case you have not seen the newspaper article downstairs in the church, Daisy received the "Phenomenal Woman of the Year Award" from the University of Arizona Alumni Association Black Alumni Club. In addition earlier this year she also received the "Black Engineer of the Year" Award for Diversity.
