Concerned Parents of Color: The SAT (and other) Performance Gaps

Posted by: rbutler on Tuesday, February 21, 2006 - 04:04 PM 313 Reads

Education

Concerned Parents of Color: College Searches - A place to start

Posted by: rbutler on Saturday, February 18, 2006 - 08:51 AM 697 Reads

Education
Those students in their Sophomore and Junior high school years, are the ones that should be investigating potential college choices.  Parents should become aware of the process and its logical steps, LONG before this.

Use these and other links at the CPC website, in addtion to other resources (your school's Guidance Office, friends, relatives, other church members, those working in the fields desired by your student, professional societies, sororities or fraternities, and local schools) to help your student identify the best choices for him or her.

This is simply a LIMITED list of what is available on the Internet but should be a good place to start out on your quest.

We begin with general process and list oriented sites followed by those for searching on selected disciplines.

This list may be added to as additional information is gathered, so return frequently.

If you have a suggestion for this list please Email it to:  cpc@gfccnet.org
