What do you mean the Battle is not mine, it feels like it is...
What I mean by it is that there is an invisible war going on in the cosmic universe that is larger than you or I. When we must engage the battles of life, we as christians are called to pray. It is in prayer that God meets us at the point of our struggle and all the resources of heaven come to bare on our situation. I pray because I am aware that the battle is not about me but it is evil going up aganist God. We wrestle not with flesh and blood, but with wickedness in high places.
The great news is that if we pray God will turn our battle field into a valley of PRAISE! So I would call you to go into prayer seeking God to introduce his new name to you. It is EL Shaddai, the almighty God who changes the natural course of things. The next time you find yourself in a tight situation, just start singing as you go into prayer and god will give you something to sing and shout about!
Because the tomb is empty!
