The GFCC Scholarship Golf Classic Celebrates its 12th annual Golf Tournament  on Friday August 31st at 8:00am

The GFCC Scholarship Golf Classic will hold it's 12th annual golf tournament o­n Friday August 31st at 8:00am at the historic Stow Acres Golf Course in Stow Massachusetts.

Stow Acres was the site of the very first National Negro Open Golf Tournament that was held o­n Labor Day  weekend in 1926. The GFCC Scholarship Golf Classic continues to honor the rich legacy that African Americans have played in the game of golf . The tournament will include 18 holes of golf, breakfast, barbeque lunch, golf cart, greens fees ,raffles, and prizes. A hole in o­ne at the designated tee will win a brand new Acura MDX. The playing fee is o­nly $125 and sponsorships are available. All contributions raised by the tournament are used to support the GFCC Scholarship Program which to date has distributed more than $110,000 in college scholarships and grants to deserving students in the community.
