Our own Najah Walker was named Student Community Member of the Month for September 2007 on the Gold Team at the Fuller Middle School in Framingham. She is a seventh grader at the school.
Each month during the school year, the leader of the Gold Team (consisting of approximately 80 students) selects four students to be Student of the Month. Awards can be won for Academic Member, Community Member, Academic Member Most Improved, and Community Member Most Improved.
According to teacher, James Bergeron, she won the award for her community activities during the month.
Najah also showed me her report card for the first term of the 2007/2008 school year and she received ALL A's, which I believe qualifies her for HIGH HONORS status. This represents ongoing growth and development for Najah, as she qualified for HONORS (ALL A'S AND B'S) for the third term of the 2006/2007 school year when she was in the sixth grade (see link below)
