We pause to remember those who have and continue to sacrifice by serving in the military for the sake of our freedom and values.One does not have to glory in warfare, indeed we ought to be about peace and seeking peace.What we afirm is that we live in a world of evil and because of that we have wars.In  fact the bible speaks of even wars and rumors of wars in the last day.It is with this  biblical context that we also  salute those who go off to war praying at the same time that God would bring peace.This holiday, join me in prayer asking that the wars, violence and evil that is all over the world would cease..It can  if God’s people who are called by His name would humble themselves , turn from their wicked ways and pray..then will we hear from heaven..As I honor those in the uniform I also look to hear from heave..read  2 Chronicles 7:14
