I long since stopped making new year’s resolutions..
Instead I make affirmations. And these affirmations are not about me, but about God. I start the year off getting my head on straight about what I [ affirm] believe about God.It is when this is correct in my prayer life, belief strucrture, and very soul that every thing else lines up correctly. What I say I believe has impact on my behavior, and resolutions have to do with decisions and behavior.This approach gets me grounded in who God has been in the past, [ proven to be], and it lays the foundation for who God shall be in the future.Now is the time to renew what you know and believe God to be in your life, your family, your church ministry, your work. Review the promises that God has made to you, knowing full well that HE keeps his promises always.Once you have done this, then you can move under the favor and power of God to keep those promises you make going into 2010
