We hhave the victory in both life and in Death..
Paul gives us a theology to both live and die by. He says we are to rejoice always, and this includes that of death. He spells out his theology in Philipians 1:12- 21, 4:4. 2 Timothy chapeter 4 and also in 1 Corinthians chapter 15, the last four verses. If we live in Christ, then dying is gain, not a loss.In fact, death is a farewell that leads to JOY. He will talk about his own departure saying that he has fought a good fight, and has finished the race and kept the Faith. Now, he has a crown, victor’s lural waiting for him. Our ability as believers to rejoice even in the face of death is because of Christ’s death and ressurection. He got up, we too shall get up.That is why Paul says: Oh death where is your victory, Oh grave, where is your sting? Death is but a comma in our sentence of life, the end of the sentence is eternity.we have the victory..even that of death, so we can run on and see what the end will bring..it will bring us Victory!
This week, celebrate your life and death in Christ..You have the Victory!
Because the tomb is empty!
