There is a difference. Too many people say, I can't pray like so and so. They begin to compare themselves with others. When we pray, we have a communion with God our father. It opens us up to all the rich resources of heaven to act on our behalf. The bible even states that Jesus communicated with God his father through prayer while he dwelt among us on earth. Prayer is one of the indispensable disciplines in the life of the Christian. In some circles of the church we say: No prayer, no power; little prayer, little power; much prayer, much power. I feel blessed everytime I pray, for I link up with a God who wants to hear my prayers. Power is found in HIM who stands behind the prayer ... the ONE you pray to.
