What We Are Up To

Our Vision, Goals, Strategy, and Plan

The purpose of the Marriage Enrichment Ministry To create a support group and safety-net for married couples seeking guidance, and to provide a place of learning and sharing for couples who desire to be proactive about enriching their marriage relationship to cultivate a happy and healthy home.

It is the aim of this ministry to raise up an army of married believers who are determined to arm themselves (for this spiritual warfare) with the knowledge and wisdom of how to be successful married couples, work toward finding answers to issues that concerns them, and support others in doing the same.

It is our prayer to break the isolation couples feel in dealing with marital issues, and to be a support to couples while they wait for the revelation or answers they need for their particular situation.

We desire to provide senior mentors to couples who desire one-on-one guidance, and in general, to create a safe, nurturing and caring environment for married couples to reach out and ask for help when they need it.

The mission is to equip couples to build healthy, strong and happy marriages through practical and spiritual guidance gained from 1). bible teachings and creative workshops, 2). their use of marriage strengthening resources made available to participants in the form of DVD’s, CD’s, books, and tapes that can borrow from the Marriage Enrichment Resource Virtual Library; and 3). attending an annual marriage building retreat planned by GFCC or by another Christian affiliate that is approved or recommended by GFCC ministers and Pastor.

The group gathers five times per year for four (4) meetings packed with wisdom, knowledge, camaraderie, prayer and fun, intended to support and help develop married couples in various areas where we often struggle; and finally for a planned marriage retreat.

MEM Foundation Scriptures
Proverbs 24: 3 - 6
3 Through wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established;
4 By knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.
5 A wise man is strong, Yes, a man of knowledge increases strength;
6 For by wise counsel you will wage your own war, And in a multitude of counselors there is safety.

Our Blessings
