“FIRESIDE CHAT” QUESTIONS”

1. What is meant by a “time-sensitive” offer? If a good offer, when should the receiver take advantage of such an offer?

2. What is meant by this verse found in Gen. 6:3, “[God] will not always strive with [humanity] forever?”

3. How is stubbornness an egregious sin (1Sam 15:23)?

4. Jacob said, to God, “I will not let You go unless You bless me!” (Gen.

32:26). What was Jacob’s blessing? What is our blessing when we surrender our will to God?

5. What does it mean to “prevail” in a struggle with God (Gen. 32:28)?

6. What does “surrendering all to God” have to do with receiving the gift of eternal life?
