Praise Selection
I LOVE TO PRAISE HIM
(I love to praise Him) I love to praise His name X3
I love to praise His holy name.
(I love to lift Him up) I love to praise His name X3
I love to praise His holy name.
(I love to give Him glory) I love to praise His name X3
I love to praise His holy name.
He's my rock, my rock, my sword and shield,
He's my wheel in the middle of a wheel.
He will never, never let me down;
He's just a jewel that I have found.
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
I love to praise His name.
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
I love to praise His name.
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
I love to praise His name.
I love to praise His holy name.
(Praise him), Praise him
I love to praise, I love to praise
I love to praise His holy name.
WHAT A MIGHTY GOD WE SERVE
What a mighty God we serve
What a mighty God we serve
Angels bow before Him
Heaven and earth adore Him
What a mighty God we serve
What a loving God . . .
What a faithful God . . .
BOW DOWN AND WORSHIP HIM
Bow down and Worship Him
Bow down and Worship Him
Worship Him, Oh Worship Him!
Jesus the king of kings
Jesus the king of kings
Worship Him, Oh Worship Him!
Consuming fire, sweet perfume
His Awesome Presence fills this place
For this is Holy ground
So come lets bow down
Bow down and Worship Him
Bow down and Worship Him
Worship Him, Oh Worship Him!
GOD WILL WORK IT OUT
Before I knew my name, before I drew a breath
He was making ways for me
Now and every day, in each and every step
He is making ways for me
When my heart is full of doubt
Feels like faith is running out
I've come too far to turn around
I know
CHORUS
God will work it out
God will work it out
One thing I know
One thing I’ve found
God will work it out,
Pushing past the fear, fighting to believe
He is making ways for me
And He won't let me down, never ever leave
He's still making ways for me
When my heart is full of doubt
It feels like faith is running out
I’ve come too far to turn back 'round
I know
CHORUS X2
Be still my soul
Be still and know
Lean in, take hold
In God alone
I GIVE MYSELF AWAY
Chorus:
I give myself away
I give myself away
So You can use me
I give myself away
I give myself away
So You can use me
Verse 1:
Here I am
Here I stand
Lord, my life is in your hands
Lord, I'm longing to see
Your desires revealed in me
I give myself away
Verse 2:
Take my heart
Take my life
As a living sacrifice
All my dreams all my plans
Lord I place them in your hands
Bridge:
My life is not my own
To you I belong
I give myself, I give myself to you
TAKE ME TO THE KING
Take me to the King. I don't have much to bring
My heart is torn in pieces. It's my offering
Take me to the King
Truth is I'm tired. Options are few
I'm trying to pray, But where are you?
I'm all churched out, Hurt and abused
I can't fake. What's left to do?
Truth is I'm weak. No strength to fight
No tears to cry, Even if I tried
But still my soul, Refuses to die
One touch will change my life
Take me to the King. I don't have much to bring
My heart's torn in pieces. It's my offering
Lay me at the throne. Leave me there alone
To gaze upon Your glory, And sing to You this song
Please take me to the King
Truth is it's time to stop playing these games
We need a word for the people's pain
So Lord speak right now, let it pour like rain
Oh, yeah, we're desperate, we're chasing after you
No rules, no religion. I've made my decision To run to You, the healer that I need.
TROUBLE DON’T’ LAST ALWAYS
I'm so glad troubles don't last always
I'm so glad
Trouble don't last always
I'm so glad
Trouble don't last always
I'm so glad
Trouble don't last always
May not come when you want Him
But He's on time
In times of trouble, found Him to be
A friend of mine
In time storm clouds rise
He'll be there
All your burdens
I know the Lord will help you to bear (bear)
I'm so glad
Trouble don't last always
I'm so glad
Trouble don't last always
May not come when you want Him
But He's on time
In times of trouble, found Him to be
A friend of mine
When storm clouds rise in your life
I know He'll be there, yes he will
Everybody got burdens
I know the Lord will help you to bear
I'm so glad
Trouble don't last always
I'm so glad
Trouble don't last always
Weeping may endure for a night
Keep the faith it will be alright
Weeping may endure for a night
Keep the faith it will be alright, right
Come on y'all, trouble
Can I get a witness, hey
Can I get a witness in the building, no
If you can just keep the faith
Trouble don't last always
No no no
Trouble don't last always
Trouble don't last always
No no no
Trouble don't last always
Trouble don't last always, no no no
No no no
Trouble don't last always
Trouble don't last always
No no no
Trouble don't last always
Trouble don't last always, no no no
Trouble don't last always
No no no
Trouble don't last always
Weeping may
Weeping may endure for a night
Keep the faith it will be alright
Weeping may
Weeping may endure for a night
Keep the faith it will be alright, right right
Trouble don't last always

God is doing a new thing and taking us to a new level. He calls us to seek him, and he will do miracles in our midst. This year we are praying for miracles in our lives, the lives of our families, and our Church family. As we pray and seek His face, we are going to give God Majestic Praise along the way. The song writers said it: I seek a miracle every day and I just want to Praise him.
ÿ Annual Memorial Service ÿ
Today Sunday, January 22, 2023, we are celebrating the Homegoing of those individuals who have been promoted to glory during the calendar year 2022. The congregation is encouraged to come out to encourage those who have buried loved ones and affirm our hope that lies beyond the grave. Sermon Title: “The Intersectionality of Fear, Faith and Favor"
Scripture: Psalm 127:1-5
“Fireside Chat” Questions
- What does this intersectionality look and feel like in your life?
- What difference does being a Christian make when confronted with fear?
- Having wrestled with fear, does it open you up to a special kind of favor from God?
- How do you react to the statement: Only personal faith overcomes fear? True or not?
- Is it possible as a Christian to get to a place where fear can find no place of sustainability in your life? Why or why not?
- If fearless faith roots itself in a single desire? What is that desire?
- In our text, what are the three positions of his heart that David, the author, describes?
- What does fearless faith realize according to our text?
- According to David in our text, where is the place of favor?
Listening to God’s Word and to God’s messages for you. Make a few personal notes as you listen. Revisit your notes during quiet time spent with the Lord over the coming week. Allow God to crystallize His truths in your life.
